despair

You can learn to tone into it if you try; use it as a conductor for something that means something. It doesn’t have to be crippling, but usually that’s just what it is. It doesn’t have to be, though. It doesn’t have to be inhibiting. It doesn’t have to mean derailment and be a roadblock on the pursuits that we are pursuing. It’s just a pacifier. You can use it.

from experience: sometimes trying to use it or embrace it is only masking the ways it inhibits you. the best thing: learn to love yourself and take care of yourself. the rest will follow, i promise. please don't mistake using despair for overcoming it.
