Grade III MCL Tear

You curse your legs. You curse your luck, "God", the accident, anything that contributed to your handicap. You think of the days when you didn't have to sit down and pull yourself up the stairs. When you didn't dread your next bathroom excursion. How you took climbing the stairs and squatting for granted. How you took so many things for granted. All these simple things have now become torture. You become acutely aware of the body's inevitable degeneration-- nothing stays gold forever. It's a humbling moment, for sure.
